A 42-Hour ruck challenge.

Opening Ceremony and leg brief starts at 7pm on October 10, 2025. Step off is at 8pm.

Participants in the 42-hour challenge (totaling 84 miles) have the option to register as a SOLO participant or as a TWO-person team (maximum two people).

Movement and Pace: A 1-mile loop will begin every half hour. Participants may complete each loop at their own pace within that half-hour window. If participating as a two-person team, at least one team member must begin each loop, and partners may complete the loops together or individually within the allotted time. Team members must work together to complete the event.

Weight Requirement: All participants must carry their own ruck with a minimum of 10lbs of additional weight (excluding water and essential personal items). For a greater challenge, and to simulate the weight of typical law enforcement duty gear, participants are encouraged to carry 20lbs.

Rules for Team Formation and Changes:

  • Initial Registration: Participants register as SOLO or a TWO-person team.

  • Solo Pairing Exception: A participant registered as SOLO or who becomes SOLO (due to a teammate withdrawing) can pair with another SOLO participant in the 42-hour challenge.

  • Timing of Solo Pairing:

    • Before Step Off: SOLO 42-hour participants can form a two-person team with another SOLO 42-hour participant before the event begins.

    • At the 12-Hour Remaining Point: Participants who started or became SOLO in the 42-hour challenge can form teams with another SOLO 42-hour participant only at the point when 12 hours remain in the event.

These rules aim to support participants while maintaining the challenge and encouraging teamwork. Detailed event rules and safety guidelines will be provided during the opening brief.

Your Swag bag will contain the following:

6 Food Vouchers

EOWMR Patch

EOWMR Annual Challenge Coin

EOWMR Annual Roll Call T-Shirt
