End of Watch Island

At the End of Watch Foundation, part of our mission is to educate the public and promote causes important to law enforcement and first responders. We recently received a message that we wanted to share.

Mr. Daryl Pfaff, a retired Sheriff’s Detective from Bergen County, New Jersey reached out to share an auction he is hosting with the support of a local radio station in hopes of raising funds for families of fallen law enforcement officers.

“During the creation of this piece, I had a list of all those that have fallen beside me and I prayed for each and every family during the process,” Mr. Pfaff said. “This art project became quite a spiritual journey for me. My hope is to auction off this piece before Christmas with 100% of the proceeds going to the children of fallen brothers and sisters.”

Mr. Pfaff says that it is important to him that the families and loved ones left behind after the death of an officer know that they are supported and loved.

“I want them to know that even through their loss of a parent there are thousands of aunts and uncles in law enforcement that care and love them,” he said.

The auction will start at $1,500, which Mr. Pfaff hopes will be distributed to three families at $500 each. He is hopeful the piece will sell for more as pieces of his of this size normally sell for upwards of $7,000.

For more information about the piece, contact the High Tide Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida.
